Need a place for a nice business lunch or maybe just something a little fancier than normal? What about Fearing’s in the Ritz Carlton off of McKinney Avenue? I went the other day for lunch and was more than satisfied and stuffed to the brim. We started off with the crab cakes- which were perfectly cooked. One of my good friends is moving this tomorrow, so in honor of my food loving friend’s departure. I’ve compiled a list of favorites categorized from cheap to brunch to dessert from someone who loves food more than me. Time and time again I’d heard how amazing Abacus is, but had yet to experience it. Finally, I did and realized why it is one of the most talked about restaurants in Dallas. It is one of those places that you walk in and feel like you are somewhere you never knew existed. The Continental Club- Turkey, Provolone, Apple-Smoked Bacon, Arugula, Mayo & Basil Pesto on Whole Wheat

Yesterday, I was lucky enough to enjoy lunch with Hopdoddy‘s culinary director, James Bowen. During this more than delicious lunch my eyes were opened to the art that is Hopdoddy. Obviously, when ordering I let the expert give me a few recommendations including his favorites, the Continental Club- Turkey, Provolone, Apple-Smoked Bacon, Arugula, Mayo & Basil Pesto on Whole Wheat or the Magic Shroom- Angus Beef, Texas Goat Cheese, Field Mushrooms, Mayo & Basil Pesto.
