Velvet Taco

The anticipation to try Velvet Taco had been killing me for weeks, so I finally had to check it out. I went for a quick lunch and was definitely more than satisfied with my choices.
A number 8, roast pulled pork, pineapple thai basil, habanero salsa, spiked BBQ sauce and a corn tortilla and a number 15, cornmeal fried oyster with remoulade, pico, smoked chili butter and a napa fennel radish shred.
The pork had a kick to it, but was perfectly balanced by the pineapple and basil, while the oyster taco was life changing. The oysters were perfectly fried, not too greasy and the fennel radish shred added that crunchy kick that every taco needs.
